Water is life! We marvel at the waters (streams, lakes, wetlands, and the Puget Sound) that we can see every day. However, we are also served by the safe, abundant stores of clean water that we can't see, right under our feet. These include the Kitsap County aquifers, and the hidden pipes and pumps that provide us water, that take away and treat our wastewater, and that manage the storm water.

With A Practical Guide to Kitsap Water we welcome you to learn where your water comes from, how your waste is treated, how storm water runoff is managed and your part in keeping it all working well.
