Housing

The Housing Committee advocates for people who are without shelter or at risk of homelessness by advocating for the increased supply of affordable housing options so all community members can have a home that is safe, decent, and adequate. We track state legislation that will impact local housing and encourage state and local governments to support ordinances and policies consistent with state law and LWVWA and LWVUS positions. The committee collaborates with local government and nonprofits to support the development of emergency shelters and supportive housing.
