Redistricting 101: Statewide and Local

Every 10 years, Washington State voting-district maps can change, based on new Census information. Voting district lines drawn in 2021 will determine how strong a voice each voter has in coming elections for the next decade.

Let’s make sure these maps fairly represent you and your community!

Alison McCaffree, LWV of WA Census and Redistricting Chair, will join with Paul Andrews, Kitsap County Auditor, to discuss how redistricting will be conducted in Washington State and Kitsap County.

We did an outstanding job in Kitsap County with getting a full count on the 2020 Census. Now that information will be put to use in establishing fair representation for our citizens. Find out how!
