About the Panelists
Chad Enright is the current Kitsap County Prosecuting Attorney. He has served in that role since January 2019. Before joining the county, Chad worked in private practice and served as a felony level public defender representing indigent clients in Kitsap County Superior Court. He joined the Kitsap Prosecuting Attorney’s office in 2008 and spent the majority of his time focusing on domestic violence, sex offenses, and mental health and civil commitment hearings. In addition, he served as the Chief of the Felony and Juvenile division for four years. He is currently Secretary of the Kitsap County Bar Association.
Thomas Weaver is a criminal defense attorney practicing in the State of Washington since 1993. He is a member of the US Supreme Court Bar and the Washington Supreme Court. He recently published his first book entitled, “The Electoral College: A Biography of America’s Peculiar Creation Through the Eyes of the People Who Shaped It.” The book examines how and why the Electoral College came to be, and how it has endured in the face of criticism.
